I am sooooo having a flashback. In the 80's I had a catering company with my mother in Boulder, Colorado. This is when "food" art was just hitting the scene.

I went hog wild, creating my own "inventions".

We catered a huge event for Hewlett Packard. 600 people from around the world attended. It was our largest event.

Sadly, the people from Korea or was it....(can't remember) were so offended by my "egg people" they left the party and sent letters of protest to the President of HP. Woops.

MINUTO DE FANTASIA

Há um minuto de fantasia
Em algum lugar do mundo
Que transforma em alegria
Cada sonho, o fervor, o segundo

Há fantasmas, bruxos, feitiçarias
Há fadas, anões, lindas princesas
Ação, lágrimas, coração, alegrias
Entre bosques, flores, belezas

A realidade de um sonho
Está no coração de quem acredita
Por isso eu te proponho
Procure a magia, não desista

Procure descobrir a realidade
De um sonho em poesia
Procure a mágica felicidade
Que está oculta em cada dia

I love this site...I grew up with an artist mom (self taught like me) and she always made things with the food to entertain us, but I am sure it was for herself having seven kids!

Beautiful, and cannot wait to see more...

Charmaine- you should post those pics did you take any?
